Rupanyup House utilises the strong legacy of hay shed construction in the area to rethink the potential of rural homes. The design places all living spaces upstairs to capture distant northern views and utilises heavy thermal mass throughout and operable skylights to manage the hot summer days through the assistance of the cooler summer evenings.
